About

Christopher T. Guy

Certified "Red Seal" Electrician Since 1996.

I started my Electrical apprenticeship in 1990 at the age of 20.

I worked as a Commercial Electrician for the first 8 years in the trade. After aquiring my Red Seal Journeyman Certificate in 1996 I started working as an Industrial Electrician in the Oil Sands sector.

From 2000 to 2017 I worked on huge projects for various Oil Sands Companies where I learned quite a few other valuable skills. I held positions in QA/QC departments, where I first learned a bit about databases and how useful they are (MS Access) as a management tool, I also aquired more MS Excel skills during these periods as well. I've held Sub-Foreman, Foreman and General Foreman positions in my career too.

I've always loved building things growing up and into my Adult life, during my 30 years as an Electrician I picked up quite a few other construction skills, like Plumbing basics, Carpentry basics, Drywalling & Taping, Painting and most general Handyman skills.

But...

The world changed...

I had to change too...

What I used to do.
